This EP explores Performative Storytelling and KOshowKO’s way of making music that the artist refers to as ‘the model of setting-based mobile music creation’. Building on Martin’s previous mobile music production and extensive research in this area, this collection of tracks cements KOshowKO’s position as a key proponent of mobile music making technologies.

This special BANDCAMP EDITION of the EP features one bonus track 'Eastern Egoist (Jazzy Privilege Version)' as well as alternative versions of the cover art not available elsewhere.

Mobile Positions explored throughout the EP refer to site-specific sampling, iOS related mobile music making strategies and use of other mobile gear, such as field recorders and the pocket-sized OP-1 synth. A detailed list of the used apps can be found on Bandcamp.
KOshowKO’s creative process makes the location the central element of the musical composition. Field recordings are featured in most of the tracks, some of which were partially created in various national parks, some during train commutes and some at a kitchen table.
